Eating Organic Whole Foods Doesn't Have to Be Expensive!

A lot of people ask me how I manage to feed a family of seven without going broke, especially since we don't have a garden! I do not shop at any place exclusively for my family but rather I go between farmers markets, Trader Joes, Safeway, Sprouts and even once in a while Target or Walmart, yes Walmart! Many of the stores you probably frequent too! What I do pay attention to is my list and the best prices on ingredients I need for the upcoming week. Coupons for organic items are like gold and with Safeway Just For You U stock up on the organic items and natural products when they become available. I also but my natural products like shampoo, detergents, and soap from a local health food store and make my own when I can.I am always looking for tips and suggestions to be able to save my family money and still serve amazing whole foods!

CASCADIAN FARM I enjoy making my own granola but there are times when the convenience of buying a box comes in handy, especially since my 18 year old can eat this every morning for breakfast! Horizon Organic The milk, butter, and sour cream are my go to products and recently tried their mac and cheese. All natural, simple ingredients you can find some awesome recipes especially this zucchini carrot bread which also makes for great muffins!
